B-FIVE plays on a renaissance recorder consort made by the Dutch recordermaker Peter van der Poel. This consort was modelled to Schnitzer, a German family of instrument makers active in the first half of the 16th century in Nurnberg. The original models can be found in the musical instruments museums of Brussels and Vienna.
